The Gazette du Palais published, last October 31st, the 2022 version of its capitalization scale. APREF (French Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies) wanted to respond to this publication with a brief note that mainly raises concerns about the proposal to use a negative rate for the first time to compensate victims of bodily harm in France.
